A Pentecostal View of Water Baptism: An Interview with Dr. Andrew WilliamsJoin us Monday, October 16 for an interview with Dr. Andrew Williams, author of "Washed in the Spirit: Toward A Pentecostal Theology of Water Baptism." Dr. Williams is at the forefront of a movement exploring the relationship between Pentecostal theology, spirituality, and the sacraments. His work delves into the often-overlooked connection between Pentecostal theology and water baptism. This promises to be an insightful conversation about deepening and renewing Pentecostal teachings and practice, and engaging with the larger ecumenical discussion. |

THOUGHTS ON ISRAEL BY PASTOR ROWNTREE
LAST WEEK’S SHOWS:
If you missed joining us for the live watch party, you can still enjoy the show! Watch our most recent episodes:
Response: Dr. Jeffrey Seif Defends Tree of Life TranslationMark Ward, a Bible scholar and TLV critic, has come on Remnant and expressed reservations about the TLV. He questions the extensive use of transliterated Hebrew terms in the translation and raises concerns about its intelligibility for a broader audience. Additionally, Ward challenges the practice of replacing "Lord" in the New Testament with "ADONAI" and the use of Hebrew transliterations for certain terms. You can watch that episode here. We welcomed Dr. Jeffrey Seif to the show to hear his response. Seif has a rich background in theology and ministry, serving as a missionary with the American Board of Missions to the Jews and as a theology ministry professor for twenty-seven years. Dr. Seif worked on the team of Messianic Judaism and Christian scholars commissioned to work on the Tree of Life translation. | In this episode, Seif defends and elaborates on the Tree of Life Version's merits, addressing Ward's concerns and providing insights into the translation's purpose and significance. We explored the TLV's focus on maintaining the Jewish essence of the Bible and its role in connecting readers with the rich heritage of their faith. |
Responding to “Cessationist” - Part ThreeWe continued our series on responding to the Cessationist documentary. Tune in for Part Three on, where we addressed their arguments: 1) Hebrews 2:2-3 2) "The wicked generation that seeks a sign" from Matthew 16, and 3) Misrepresentations of church history |
