We've all heard of the Holy Spirit as the third member of the Trinity. Did you know the books of Isaiah and Revelation also mention seven spirits of God? Are there seven spirits of God or just one Holy Spirit? Are these one and the same? Or, do the seven spirits describe different attributes of God's character?

Question from Joshua in Mississippi: Inner healing can be traced back to Agnes Sanford, who based some of her practices on Jungian psychology and New Thought. Should the church stop doing this practice? It honestly frightens me a little because I have had an inner healing that I felt was beneficial, but many people will “travel to heaven” and think their experience was beneficial.
Answer: As with any church practice, whether prophecy, deliverance, inner healing, etc, be sure to check out the doctrinal page or statement of faith of the organization. Always confirm the ministry is following sound doctrine. In addition here are a couple older episodes on inner healing that may help.
Question from Michelle on Patreon: I am wondering if you have any information on the 7 Spirits of God? This teaching on the seven fold ministry of the Holy Spirit seems to be a very popular subject in charismatic circles, and I would like your view on it, if you have one.
