Debunking End Times Pop Theology With Dr. Craig Keener
We're thrilled to have Dr. Craig Keener back on the show to examine popular End Times/Revelation theories circulating in Christian pop culture. Is "www" the same as 666? Are barcodes or Elon Musk's Neuralink chip the mark of the beast? Is Donald Trump or Barack Obama or Elon Musk or Pope Francis or King Charles the antichrist? We'll explore these and other End Times ideas that have surfaced online, asking whether they truly align with what the Bible says.
Dr. Craig S. Keener, a renowned biblical scholar and author of 37 books, brings his expertise to help us navigate these controversial topics with clarity and biblical insight. Don't miss this enlightening discussion!
Episode premieres Monday, August 26 at 4:00 p.m. CDT/UTC-5.

Heiser Under Review: Exploring Doreen Virtue's Criticisms of Dr. Michael Heiser's Work
The late Dr. Michael Heiser was known for his groundbreaking perspectives on the supernatural realm, including the divine council, the Tower of Babel, Theosis, Genesis 1:26, Psalm 82, the Book of Enoch, Nephilim, demonology, and angelology. As the author of influential works like The Unseen Realm and Reversing Hermon, Heiser helped shape contemporary understanding of these complex topics.
Recently, Doreen Virtue, alongside Hebrew scholar Dr. Wave Nunnally, Systematic Theology Professor Dr. Jordan Cooper, Pastor Gary Gilley, Pastor Samuel Farag, Marcia Montenegro, and Don Veinot, has raised concerns about some of Heiser's interpretations. You can watch their review of Dr. Heiser here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6ih2uBh0Is
In this episode, we'll dive deep into their critiques and explore whether these concerns hold weight. What are the implications for those who follow Heiser's teachings? Join us as we critically examine these viewpoints and discuss what this means for our understanding of the supernatural in Scripture.
Episode premieres Wednesday, August 28 at 4:00 p.m. CDT/UTC-5.

Kariana from California: We are all called to be merciful, but how exactly would you define the spiritual gift of mercy?
Answer: Yes, Luke 6:36 states, "Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful," so we are called to be merciful. The gift of mercy is being empowered by God to use mercy in a way that expands God's kingdom as well as builds up and edifies the church. The spiritual gift of mercy is the God-given ability to deeply empathize with others, especially those who are suffering or in need, and to respond with compassion and care. This gift enables a believer to offer comfort, support, and encouragement to people who are hurting, reflecting God's love and grace in tangible ways.
Someone with the gift of mercy is often drawn to helping the marginalized, the poor, the sick, the grieving, or anyone who is experiencing hardship. They are sensitive to the emotional and spiritual needs of others and are motivated by a strong desire to alleviate suffering and bring hope. This gift goes beyond simply feeling sorry for someone; it involves taking action to meet their needs, whether through physical help, emotional support, or simply being present in their time of need.
Mercy as a spiritual gift also involves patience and kindness. Those with this gift are typically nonjudgmental, understanding, and gentle, even in situations where others might find it difficult to extend grace. They are often willing to walk alongside someone for as long as it takes, providing consistent love and care.
In essence, the gift of mercy is a reflection of God's own compassion toward humanity, enabling believers to be vessels of His love and healing to those in distress.

Why Do We Interview People We Disagree With?
In this episode, we’re tackling a question we receive a lot: Why do we interview people we disagree with?
We'll examine why we've interviewed controversial guests like Todd White, Heidi Baker, and Isaiah Saldivar and yet also cessationists like Dr. Thomas Schreiner, Dr. Stephen Nichols, and Cultish, to name a few. Does alignment equal agreement? We'll also discuss if there's anyone we won't interview. Where is our boundary line?
Our mission on The Remnant Radio is to help people break out of their theological echo chambers and truly engage with the Scriptures. By exposing ourselves to different perspectives from fellow Christian brothers and sisters, we challenge our own understanding of the Bible, which pushes us back to the Scriptures for further study. We encourage you to do the same. Whether your beliefs shift or become more resolute, the important thing is that they are rooted in a genuine, thoughtful engagement with God's Word.
Tune in to learn more about why we believe these conversations are crucial for a strong, well-rounded faith.

How to Have More of the Holy Spirit
Can you experience more of the Holy Spirit? And if so, how? In this episode, we'll explore what the Bible says about the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit, delving into questions about the normative and extraordinary means of grace. We'll also examine verses that illuminate how to better position yourself to receive more of the Holy Spirit. Join us as we seek to understand how Christian believers can experience a deeper and more powerful relationship with the Holy Spirit.
